owie...

this morning i drove the car out of the carport into the driveway for mum cause we were running late for church and she hadn't left the house yet. then i got out of the car and shut the door...on my finger. it didn't hurt so much to start but then it got worse and worse. and i was thinking to myself that usually car door slams are supposed to hurt a lot. and i still have cold stuff on it now...4 hours later.
so we didn't end up going to church. and mum started getting stomach cramps and a headache. so as a family we watched lano and woodley's "the island" which cheree brought from ben's last night. it was funny.
typing with one hand is rather harder than with two...go figure.
luckily my hurt finger is on my left hand :)
i may go to church tonight depending on whether my finger stops hurting and i can manage to drive.

yesterday i had my hsc french speaking exam. it was ok. i think i did alright :) i was number 200. the second session started with number 119 or twenty-something. my examiner was nice. when i was done i asked her if i needed to take the tape out with me (to give to the person who collected them) and she accidentally said, "no, usually the little man comes and gets it." hehe...little man-who wasn't very small at all.

grosses bisses :)

i found out the other day that mum doesn't know i have a blog.
funny, all this time i thought she did.

went to sunset tonight, northridge vineyard's evening service. i enjoyed it. and recommend it. their pastor is very sweet and laid back :) and rather off topic. which was funny. and his off-topicness was good cause what he was talking about while he was doing a bit of a verbal wander was interesting.
and ree got to meet ty. and we saw lots of other people we knew too. which was nice. and i want to go again. and this time lucas has to come too.

and the lakehouse was an alright movie although the ending was not right, time wise. but i don't want to ruin it for you. if you plan seeing it, that is.

and i have a doctor's appointment tomorrow for my ear which is rather blocked at times.

signing off. for now.

a good book and a hopefully good movie

well i finished the book i was reading today. it was good. i don't know quite what to do with it at this point, i think i have to read it again. last time i was suffering from trial-memory-loss.
i recommend the book though. it's called "the irresistible revolution: living as an ordinary radical" by shane claiborne.

tomorrow night i'm going to see "the lake house" for $5 at hornsby odeon with mum. we hope it will be good. i'm looking forward to it.

goodbye...

mmmm...

i like porridge...tis so warm and squishy. i don't like it, however, when one is placing it from one bowl to another and it spills all over the edge and is impossible to clean up. like glue.

trials over...yAY! and i've pretty much finished my textiles folio and prac stuff. i got it pressed at the dry cleaners and it is all perty and the opposite of wrinkly...my brain isn't working today.
and i got the folio printed at kwikkopy...nice lady in there. after lots of trouble converting to an a3 pdf file it was done and i walked up. oh the satisfaction...except there is a slight problem cause the numbering for one of the articles in the order of construction goes ...13. 14. 15. 29. 30.31.32.33. whoops! i think i will change it but have to be very careful...

and now to find a box that will fit my lovely major work, but will meet requirements for size. gah. and then ashley's partY! yay for that.
i'm looking forward to it. i have nice outfit-ness.
ok i have to go.
byee!!!

3 down, 5 to go...

had french speaking test today. it was fun. although i think i stuffed up some pretty obvious things which i kinda just forgot...although that always happens. so i think i did alright. judging by what mrs brown said after. so hopefully.
in other news i keep getting behind-the-eye headaches. rather annoying when one is trying to study. and look at the computer screen. and i think i am coming down with something. feeling spaced-out sometimes. i hope it's just a cold and it will pass with the help of zinc. and lots of sleep. not going to school tomorrow cause i have no exams. on the study schedule which is in my head, i will be working on ext 1 and regular english. i hate english. then the weekend will be devoted to textiles, french listening/writing and more english. and at some point, either friday or monday, i have to see mrs cassell for more textiles major work help. and finish the darn thing.
:(
just the stupid hand stitched hem to go. and the buttons and the frogging on the waistcoat. and a lot of folio :(
better start on that :(
