beyond tomorrow...

welll....1 term left...i think this is the point that most of year 12 either becomes really motivated because the end is nigh, or really unmotivated because we're just sick of it. i fall into the second group.
lying in bed last night the closeness of this year being over-ness kinda hit me. the thought of next year being a reality was nice. i think for all of this year up til now i kinda didn't believe in it. but i can now confidently say..."I BELIEVE IN NEXT YEAR!!!!" how ironic if the world ended before then. or i died. ha. i'd be laughing.

but anyhow...that wasn't really why i started writing this post...well it was kind of. but now i think i don't want to write what i was going to write so i will leave you there :)

ps. i have a myspace now. it's www.myspace.com/leesie_loo

today was a nice, sunny day. until the sun disappeared behind some clouds. a lot of clouds. i was in church this morning looking outside wondering how we could be inside on such a beautiful day so when the sermon was about to start i snuck out the back door to go see what the kids were watching and got too caught up in the nice sunlight and decided i'd take a walk. it was good for about the first 5 mins and then the sun said goodbye. i didn't just go round the block however, like i usually do, i kept going along a street and took the long way round. cheree realised i was gone though, and after a message from her and one from mum and an accidentally missed call from mum i messaged ree back. but mum had already come looking for me. so much for spontaneity.
luckily she went the right way round the block and i bumped into her on the way back. so she went and told ree and the three of us went for a coffee at the cafe across the road. and a banana stak. it was soooo yum :) it was 2 pieces of banana bread cut in halves and sandwiched with sliced banana and ricotta cheese in the middle and honey criss-crossed on top. sooo gud. disappeared quickly between the 3 of us. so we had a nice little chat and went back to church after to see dad and do the usual talkies-over-morning-tea thing.
i had the wonderful opportunity (:S) to entertain emma and beth, aged 11 and 9 respectively, while they tickled and pinched me. beth kept pinching my butt. not something i'd like to repeat. although they are ok. i'm trying to be a good influence on them. being all older and cool : ha.

yesterday at emma's we (me, emma, lou and dan) watched a walk to remember. and i heard the lovely switchfoot songs. those being only hope, you, dare you to move and learning to breathe. switchfoot is such a good band.

that and some shopping be my day. i think i should start my ext1 assignment. any ideas for a plot?

delirious?

yes, yes it has been a long time.
so much to do :P

besides boring school stuffs, tonight i went with good old mandy to the acer arena, formerly superdome, to the hillsong conference cause delirious? was playing. yay for them! they were really gooood. They only sung 2 songs that i knew but now i know more and i want to buy their latest cd, mission bell. and they aren't on itunes! me annoyed.
but they were still good. our seats were right up the back but we were directly facing the stage and could see the little people down on it especially well with the huge screens. twas a good night. i think the songs they played were "rain down", "paint the town red", "solid rock", "miracle maker", "history maker", "our God reigns" and "majesty"...the last 2 being the ones i knew.
It was funny cause at the end of 'miracle maker' martin smith (the singer) changed the last line to history maker instead (of miracle maker), and had this funny little look on his face and people started cheering cause they knew what was coming next. :)
very loud music in some of it i must say, but all in all it was good. and on the way home i had "we're gonna dance, dance, dance in the freedom we know..." stuck in my head cause the hillsong band sung it twice at the beginning and again at the end...i don't really like it now. overkill.
and we were given maccas salt packets at the end cause it related to the talk this guy gave...which was actually ok. (the talk). and mandy high-fived an usher cause they told us too and she was waiting the whole time...then we found a bible on the floor which had dropped from the row behind and she found an usher to give it to...then tried to get him to high-five her but he wasn't sure what she wanted...i just kept walking...he did in the end cause she was excited by it...random :P. good old (short) mandy :)
and now it is late-ish and i am tired. i did work today :) so proud...did some french and some maths test prac. and i went to a french speaking day at school yesterday...and i survived! fancy that.
byeee.
