i made a greeeeen picture on paint. i call it "Ode to Green".

went to see art on the rocks today.
on the train on the way to wynyard station there was an asian man who was singing into his phone. it was funny. he was so happy. he was around 50. but asians age well so he may have been older.
we went down nurses walk cause i wanted to show mum the button shop. there was a quartet of singing guys who were really good. so we had a cup of coffee in the cafe so we could listen some more. then there was some recorder players. they were good too. sounded medieval and irish.

mad world of poison ivy...

i downloaded the song mad world from itunes the other day cause it was stuck in my head. it's the original version, tears for fears. the only version i heard before now was one that was on an abc ad, but that wasn't on itunes. this one is..interesting. it's growing on me i think. it's kinda static. not nice and flowy like the one i heard before. an interesting song though. typical 80's style i think...not that i've heard enough 80's music to judge.
in other news my typing today has gone spack (sp?).
hmmm.
the cinnamon rolls went off well yesterday. i have to say they were pretty good.
and the macaroons were liked too.
trying to do textiles folio is hard. i should do french homework. mrs brown really piled it on this week. gah. even though there's a week between lessons she gave us more work than we would do in a week. gah.
going to see the musical "Pippin" at north sydney boys tonight with liz and ree.
i had an odd dream last night. which was probably more like this morning cause i got up around 11. that's beside the point.
the dream was that a new girls' high opened up near ours. or mine. anywho, the uniforms were exactly the same. but the school grounds were lovely. i can't remember why. i just know i wanted to move there. michelle went there. and i stayed for a bit but then i had to leave. and i was upset. and then something weird to do with poison ivy happened. i was trying to burn it cause if it wasn't dead it would grow and not be able to be gotten rid of. but there was some little kid who wanted to plant it. he was evil. anyways.
i think i should get back to school work now.

propaganda pamphlets and freebees

well i haven't blogged for a while...

went to thing at macquarie uni today where all the unis, colleges etc etc show up and hand out propaganda pamphlets and answer questions on stuff. now i'm even more confused than before. too many options...none of which i am sure i will ever take. well tafe probably but that doesn't count. i decided to get stuff on business/accounting/admin seeing as mum thinks i should do that and i have no other ideas. there are so many options. and jade offended me back at school when she said business was stupid and boring. atleast i think those were her words. luckily ashley was there to back me up. good old wifey.
meanwhile, back at the careers excursion... we were waiting for the people in front to move so we could, cause the isle things were kinda small and there were lots of people, and i was standing infront of the uni of new england stand when a man accosted me, asking which course i wanted to do etc etc and advertising his wonderful uni where people can board and all these activities are organised and where only 4000 people attend-2.5 thousand board-and there is an 8 to 1 student teacher ratio. obviously i was listening cause i managed to take some of it in. and i think i may have looked half interested cause he just kept going on and on and on and on...eye contact was kept to a minimum though.
saw some people from primary school too.
and got a pen from avondale college which emily stole for me-not really they were offering them to people who signed up to the mailing list-and emily signed up so she could keep the pen and give it to me :) not that i didn't already sign up, the guy didn't offer me a pen before. and then louise gave me her tafe key thingy that goes around your neck. thanks louise! and she swaped her green electoral roll pen for my orange one cause i like green :) even though i said she could keep it.
so at the end of the day i have my mind full of ideas and a bag full of printed paper.
and i still don't know what i want to do.
maybe a six month tafe course in business and something just to see if i like it and then perhaps something else the following year. and then i can work for most of next year earning money for it. god willing. anything could happen between now and then. world war 111. that was meant to be a 3. or i could have moved overseas! yay. maybe somewhere that speaks french and i can learn it properly. or maybe i will have moved on from earth. that would be nice. too much left yet though. better go and make the most of it. *turns on tv*
thats all!

eventfulnesssss

sooooo....event number 1:

when: last thursday night
where: abc studios, ultimo
what: dinner at a funny (as in weird) fast food joint
and, of course, chaser studio audience!!!
who: juicy, kara, louise, me, ree and ben
how: train + feet
why: because we felt like it!!!

twas was lots of fun :) and we saw ben in the audience when it was on on friday night. and apparently kara heard her own laughter. i sat in the isle cause there were no more seats and silly people pushed in front in the line...
but it was fun fun fun. and i got 2 fantales. and chris was standing behind me for about 2 minutes giving lollies out to the row behind. and we got a photo on ree's phone with chas. he was funny :P
and the food at the cafe was...odd. blugh. sweet bread and slightly wrong tasting chicken burger.
and juicy and i hitting eachother with the tickets on our noses.
and a milo shake icecream thing on the way back..yum yum...it's been a long time since my last...ah the memories...

event number 2:

when: friday night, 6pm to 10pm
where: cch youth place...
what: rock for africa!!!
who: lots of people! namely me, dan, kara, juicy and liz.
and lots of other school people etc etc.
how: liz drove and then we ran...
why: to raise money and have a good time!

yes yes it was fun. and i bought a shirt! nice shirt. and a badge. and they played a relient k song! i was excited. muchly excited. now if only relient k would come to australia and have a concert...
hmm. and, of course, jumping was included. and the mosh. and some rowdy people. personally i don't see the point of jumping up and down to every song that's played. i listen best with my ears. except when excited about certain relient k songs. tehehehe. and songs i actually know. there were a lot i didn't. but that doesn't matter. just means i am selective about the rubbish i put in my head. anyhow...
there were fire twirlers too. and an article in the advocate. yay.
wow it's dark outside.
i really need to tell mrs youdale i'm dropping ext 2. gah. sometime tomorrow before lesson.
that be all...but wait...it's not all!

event number 3! cross country carnival! "what's that" i hear you say? it's rebellion!!!! well actually it's a whole lot less exciting...
but funness still ensued as walking meant no tiredness. and when i went to a second hand bookstore i saw....an obscure russian novel, matty t from relient k...(guess who did that one), a green vase, oscar wilde in the adults only section, a trubador playing a guitar, undies...that's where i forget. but i do remember jake gyllenhaal making an appearance posing for the centerfold of cosmopolitan magazine. lost? nevar!!! along with a vintage motorbike, 3 school children and a signpost, many a thing can be found in these long forgotten places...yes i know it was just a game but it was fun!
if you don't get it you never will...actually that's a lie.
anyhow...year 12 concert was disturbing as always, and despite the "it will be clean" thing, it was as dirty as always. and i maintain that the reason noone laughed at the oompa loompas is cause they were clean. but they were still funny tehehe. and jade and the napoleon dynamite dance! snaps for danielle's wonderful moon boots. and jade, of course, for braving the stage all on her little lonesome and performing well anyways.
now...i would like to bring to you event number 5 but it hasn't actually happened yet...that's right...it's the year 12 jerseys!!! it's more likely, however, that they will be event number 9823749238374, and we will get them at our grade's 20 year reunion, but we're hoping for the end of this week! fingers crossed!
ok now that's all.
