hmmmm....the last three days have been interesting. perhaps i'm not ready to comment yet. a few words which describe the days or the people i was with or me would have to be frustrating, fun, rowdy, loud, challenging, inobedient, awesome, relationship building, strengthening, leader-making, discovering, dancing, shouting, teaching, learning, accountabilitying, singing, praying, hearing, speaking, humbling, relating (to eachother), exciting, releasing and missing the kids and being there :(
even though it was challenging and hard for a lot of it, everyone was awesome and today was awesome too. i need a synonym for awesome. *checking Word* ok none of those words do it justice.
so if you have no idea what i'm talking about... i can't be bothered at this time to explain it. i learnt a lot about leading though. and i guess a little about how being a parent of a teen must be like. i feel sorry for them. especially when they have to constantly be the 'bad guy' and don't get thanked for trying when a lot of them make huge sacrifices for us kids. and it's a 24/7 job. ...so the moral of this story is...ha. and i've learnt that you can't make teens-anyone rather-to do anything if they don't want to. and they have to choose to make the decision to be obedient. and when they do it's awesome. there's that word again. more later i guess. once i've processed it a bit more.
