i started reading emma last night. i saw it in my room and remembered that it's another thing i have to do these hols and it can't be left til last minute cause it takes time. stupid school.

i woke up at about 1 and was a little dazed. then i ate breakfast...nothing special...toast and orange juice.
play school is so random. it's on at the moment. they have a convertible and rhys (the guy that goes on the glass house) is explaining the stuff under the hood...what has this turned into!?!?!?
and to make it fit with kids they sing a song about wheels going 'round.
odd...very odd...now she's saying how the car wont's go without petrol...it's like a car ad!

today has been very boring...for those of you coming for the north and south day (ie ext1 people and krista(mary you are invited) we have decided on the 4th. that's if emma and ashley will reply!!!

I want a new cozzie. a nice one piece...the problem is that they don't sell them in hornsby exept in target, and they aren't that nice. they have them in good vibrations in macquarie, but they are really expensive. me and mum are going to go to castle hill tomorrow to see if we can find one there.

anyways...pink and green trees on playschool...
the lady is called justine!

time to go...jade is leaving for nysf tomorrow...talked to her late last night.

dreaming of...

woke up at 12 again...i couldn't sleep last night...or this morning rather. I went to bed around 12.40 and didn't sleep till around four :(
but i had some interesting dreams. ben lee was in one of them. he was sleeping over. and he kept singing songs to me and ree. it was funny. and i had a laptop on my pillow and was talking to mary and sandra and some random that i never got to find out who it was.
and i had another dream about a guy from work who was scaring me and i kept running away. in the end it turned out that it was a misunderstanding, but i woke up before i found out why.

i might be going to the city for new year's eve. yeli invited me so i don't know who else is coming. but it will be fun.

thanks for the ideas with the shoes, guys. i think i have an idea what i want to do with them but i'm not completely sure yet...maybe i will make them both different with something that links them...analysis: unity through the use of....haha (stupid textiles)
done much on it these hols yet millie? probably....she marked my design inspiration and gave me a book to help me on the last day but i haven't done anything these hols...i wish i could motivate myself to DO SOMETHING!!! i am just thinking about what i have to do and not really DOING it! meh...
i have stuff to do...not. only what i'm avoiding and i have to say that blogging is a pretty good distraction...

shopping, playing and helloooooos!

today was good...got up around 12 and went shopping with mum and ree.
ree wanted to buy singstar 80s for tonight and there were some issues with getting it the cheapest. While we were in target and they were at the electronics counter i was looking in a cabinet of ipod stuffs and i saw a thing with 3 mini cases and some other stuff that said it was $75. I figured that i wouldn't find anything anywhere else so i asked mum if i could get it and she gave in...but when she bought it it only cost $28!!!
Pretty good i reckon... :) louise always said that stuff ends up cheaper when you scan it in the price check, and it was :) (though i didn't scan it).
we also went into general pants co. to buy some of those converse gym boot things as a birthday pressie from ree and ben. the guy who served us was funny (and cute) and maybe gay (figures). his voice was really high and he was really nice. he put the shoes at the counter after i had tried them on and asked us if we would like to look around at the specials and none of us were game enough to say no so we did. I found a nice collared shirt (just like i wanted) that was only $30...not cheap, but it was down from $60 and volcom after all...so i tried it on and bought it cause i didn't want to not buy anything after looking around the shop, and i swear the guy who served us was watching to see whether we bought anything else...probably would have trapped us in the store until we did!!!! agh!!!!
So anyways...i lost my $15 diva voucher that mum gave me last birthday that expires on the 4th of January, I hope I find it!!!! (anyone seen it???)
I want to buy a phone with my christmas money but I don't know which sort to get...i was thinking a flip phone...i don't know...the nokia 7270 looks ok...but i can't find it prepaid and i'm sure that it would cost heaps fot the phone...i should look it up online...
watching blackpool at the moment...
it is soooooo hot in this house!
i worked tonight...5.30-8.15, random shift but yea...

and in other news...i learnt "I Celebrate the day" on the piano from some music i found online that a random person wrote out from listening to it...it is a little wrong but it suffices.
I am having trouble singing along in some parts cause the tune that is sung is so different to what the right hand is playing and follows the rhythm of the left hand more...that doesn't make much sense but oh well.
hope that you all are going fine! hi juicy and millieh..hehehe...and lexie and laura and louise and anyone else who reads my blog!

i got white shoes so i am going to paint them but i'm not sure what i want to put on them...ideas anyone???

post later!

fleas glorious fleas!!!

not really...fleas suck!!!!
our house is infested with them! stupid cat!

i just had a shower. then i got out and went to my room to get changed. the cat was at my window so i picked her up and carried her out to the lounge. I then went back into my room and looked in the mirror. I had a flea on my neck. I knew they were all over my carpet so i resolved to spray it with bug spray. After I had changed I got the bug spray from the kitchen, being careful not to get bitten by the mosquito that is residing there...impossible to kill. Then I went to my room and sprayed my carpet and the rug on my bed cause that's probably infested with them too. I don't sleep in that bed so it's ok. I then proceeded to spray all areas of the floor that I could see...then I went into ree's room and sprayed the floor there, as well as the area around the bottom of my bed and her's. Then I went to the bathroom to wash my feet cause they had bug spray on them. Then I sprayed the bathroom mats.
They are taking over!!!!!

Whenever we deflea the cat it never works. Mum deflead her the other day and she still has them crawling all over. meh...when I move out I'm defleaing all my stuff. and not having a cat. If I do it will be a hairless one. But they are ugly. so no cat for me. unless someone comes up with a defleaing stuff that actually works!!!!
mum uses frontline. we have tried other stuff and it never does any good. ugh.

I am now out of last night's jammies and into tonight's ones.
Writing is so much fun.

relient k rock.

i have been listening to their christmas ep and i really like "I celebrate the day". it is stuck in my head. I found the sheet music that someone figured out but they are a little wrong. oh well. i tried playing it but it's hard to keep up with. I think I will post the lyrics...one sec while i find them...

"I Celebrate the Day
Relient K

And with this Christmas wish is missed
The point I could convey
If only I could find the words to say to let
You know how much You've touched my life
Because here is where You're finding me
in the exact same place as New Year's eve
And from a lack of my persistency
We're less than half as close as I want to be

And the first time
That You opened Your eyes
did You realize that You would be my Saviour
And the first breath that left Your lips
Did You know that it would change this world forever

And so this Christmas I'll compare the things I felt in prior years
To what this midnight made so clear
That You have come to meet me here

To look back and think that
This baby would one day save me
In the hope that what You did
That you were born so I might live
To look back and think that
This baby would one day save me

And I, I celebrate the day
That You were born to die
So I could one day pray for You to save my life. "

ah...so good..the music is nice too.

about to watch Master and Commander now.
goodbye and goodnight.

i really don't think it matters what you answer...i did my name 3 times and got 3 different names!
the first one had something to do with fruit cake :)

Your Elf Name Is...
Furry Snow Bunny
What's" Your Elf Name?

yet another random thing

there are so many of these random things...hehe
try it out :)

Your Irish Name Is...
Jade Nolan
What's" your Irish Name?

this is a funny one

like the title says...this is a little weird...
Your Monster Profile
Shadow Claw
You Feast On: Snow Cones
You Lurk Around In: Nude Beaches
You Especially Like to Torment: Dentists
What's" Your Monster Name?

random

Your Hair Should Be Orange
Expressive, deep, and one of a kind. You pull off "weird" well - hardly anyone notices.
What's" Your Funky Inner Hair Color?

This is weird and i couldn't help myself...i don't like orange....oh well, atleast it's my inner hair colour and not my outer one!

go ahead and try it if you dare...it's really not that thrilling, but then you may find it so.

the sky is finished!!!

well...i took on the laborious task of the sky in the puzzle that was given to us for christmas. First I started with the horizon, that was the easiest bit in the whole thing cause it was a fine line of brown mountains against blue sky. Then I worked my way up, cause the top edge pieces look the same and probably weren't in the right spots anyways. The picture on the cover wasn't really much help cause heaps of the sections looked the same :( but i managed and now i feel like the whole jigsaw should be done, seeing as it took me so long just to do the sky.
But alas, it is not. Dad is working on some of it at the moment. so hard!
oh well... i think i will post a pic of the finished jigsaw so stay tuned, although it probably won't be for a few days!
today consisted of bed until about 9-something, then i went and said morning to mum and she told me to go back to bed cause i looked too tired and she new i hadn't gone to bed until one something...(although she doesn't know that I read for a bit and listened to my ipod till about 2 something :) so i went to bed and slept till about 1 when mum came in and said that her and dad were going to bunnings to get some stuff to build a cage for pig and bun. so they left and about 1.10 and i read in bed for a while until about 3. and them i got up and ate some left over chocolate stuff from christmas and did some puzzle, played some piano, did more puzzle, ate some more and finally finished the sky...and here I am!
I am still in my jammies even though it is now 5.41pm...hehe...i think i should shower soon!
ree went to work but on the way ben's car broke down so they are waiting for the nrma man and she probably won't be working.
i smell mashed potatoes...yum!
i will post at a later date about my ext 2 story, i have so many thoughts about it running around in my head...so many choices about the characters that i need to think through and maybe get some help deciding on...that is where you come in my friends!
anyways, i shall go now...
will post later, byee!!

it has been decided...

i think i prefer guys with facial hair...

i think i am bored to have just written that. But it is true. Mr Tumnus has brought this up.
i think i have been influenced by dad. he has a beard. he is so cute. (that's cute in a sweet way again...don't worry I don't think like that)
it's funny cause when you tell him he's cute he gets all embarrassed and starts rubbing his eyes. that makes him even more cute. he is like a gorgeous little kid. except when he gets mad. but that's a different story.
but back to guys with facial hair...anyone with me? i guess it depends on the guy and whether it suits them, but the type of guy i like is the sort that looks good with facial hair. i think. not that i have thought about it that much. :) lol
curly hair is also nice :)
then i could play with it. and put it in little piggy tails...muahahaha. i think my future husband will have to like having his hair played with. thanks a lot mum. i used to hate it when she wanted me to play with her hair but it has become a habit now. i think it might be a way that i show affection. (to guys that is, not to girls. unless they have nice hair. i think i like playing with anyone's hair if it is nice.)
and now it is 11.58 and i am not tired. meh. my boredom has caused me to think. that can get annoying at midnight. mum and dad are in bed. ree is at ben's. the cat is asleep on the dining table on top of the unfinished jigsaw. i think i shall remove her before she removes too many of the pieces...stupid jigsaw. it's all water and sky and brown and green grass/mountains. and all the top edge pieces are blue with no particular difference between colour except the gradual gradation form dark to light. and that makes it particularly hard to fit the pieces seeing as every second one is the same.
this was meant to be a short post.
oh well.
goodnight all.

Mr Tumnus!!!!

The gorgeous mr Tumnus and little Lucy Pevensive.
I love his cute little ears.
He is a fawn btw

10

the first 10 posts have been posted!
thought i might add that in...now 11.
good night.

narnia was really gooood!!!!

went to see the chronicles of narnia today at 6.40pm, greater union hornsby. we booked tickets a while back, and we were some of the first to do so. the cinema was full tonight. it was really good!!! twas also interesting to see where it referred to stuff in the bible. and the whole story was a whole lot more interesting and personal, knowing what the story is really about. I don't want to ruin it for you, but on a lighter note...tumnus is really cute!!! cute in a sweet way. in fact I would say that he is gorgeous. he and Lucy should have married...when she had grown up. Out of the four main characters I would have to say that Lucy was my favourite. Peter was pretty good looking though.
There were heaps of people at the movies tonight. When we got out the line to get to the cinemas reached back to the stairs...so many people! saw some who I know as well...sandra was there with her friends and her sis, saw some people from youth as well.
Anyways, won't bore you!

Christmas is over!

well the day is done!
it was good, spent some good time with family and my cousin laura...that was fun :) she got samuel (younger brother) to run around the house naked...he is five. and cute. and it was funny. we bribed him with a mint cause he wanted it so badly!
I got a pair of sunnies that mum chose from the cancer council shop and i really like them! and some gold sleepers cause i asked for them. and some other stuff. and mum was happy with the egg poacher, and the biscuit tin and the bracelet i gave her. and dad wore his shirt today and he looks cute :) and he likes the pen i gave him too. and he gave me an itunes music voucher! and that was funny cause that's what i got ree. i downloaded ben lee's gamble everything for love and into the dark. I am thinking about downloading the new relient k ep cause it's cheaper than buying it online. I put their christmas ep on my ipod and listened to it properly for the first time, even though i got it 2 years ago...it is good!
watching the end of the whole nine yards now cause we forgot to tape it...seen it about 4 times already though!
so that is it for the day...
merry christmas one and all!

outrageous!!!!

this heat is outrageous!!!!
well it's not actually that hot...mum rather enjoys it "it feels like swimming in a hot pool"...ugh!
went shopping today for some last minute gifts...and then i wrapped them. That was fun. ribbons are fun. esp. curling ribbon! but i accidentally curled it the wrong way and it went straight, then i fixed it.
Mum is cooking stuff for tomorrow. I just ate some tuna for lunch :) Going to watch "nightmare before christmas" tonight. yay! it was out of the video store before and we got them to call us when it was in but they didn't, so the next time we went in there a few weeks later we asked about it again cause it was on the store tv and i really want to watch it! so they called us on thursday when it came in. 11pm christmas eve service tonight at hornsby community church, yay. hopefully squishy will be there :)
And then I guess the bed calls.
I think I like christmas eve better than christmas. the lead up and excitement is kinda better than the actual day. But then having all this lead up to one day kinda misses the point, cause it shouldn't be just about the one day. Sure, having a day causes us to celebrate and remember the point...well actually most people just think it's about the "Christmas spirit" of giving or whatever...and they TOTALLY miss the point!!!! hello!!!! wake up!!! it's like christmas and Jesus are completely separate things when he is the REASON for Christmas and celebrating!!!!!
gosh it is starting to annoy me.
and how kids are just after the presents...and i know it's just a cliche, but it really is better giving than getting. I enjoy shopping for the people i love and wrapping up their presents, wondering about what their reaction will be when they get it. and making them pretty with ribbons...(the presents i mean).

so anyway, that's today's rant :)

work was fun...hehehe...it was only a 2.5 hour shift, rather short! it started at 5.15 and from 6.30 till 7.34 I had a team chat!!! that was fun, talked heaps muahaha with my cml ian, he had been away for a while so we caught up :) he spent his 19th birthday in a ditch on a field trip and he had his braces off on the 3rd so now he has a plate and he lisps muahaha... so i took calls for 5 mins and had my break and left :) feel kinda guilty about the hour long team chat while pizza hut's paying me, but it's not like i'm getting paid much anyways....i get a pay rise once i turn 17! but hopefully i won't be there that long...
ok, watching view from the top, not that good but you know...
byee!

so today consisted of stuff...woke up around 10.30ish and did nothing...then i had a shower and are breakfast...i think i was online at that point, i started reseaching stuff for my story again...lots on the sahara and sinai deserts, where bedouins live...i looked up some names that are arabic, but i don't really like them...maybe they should be african names...they can be interesting! but i still want my characters to be western, probably moved there after they were old enough, or were sent to school there...their parents could have been researchers in the desert so they were born there, and that's how come they are all friends even though they are so different, and they get sent to boarding school and get into music and form a band! so at the beginning of the story they go back to where they were born because their childhood friend died, who was a black african, (is that politically correct? i can't remember what to say if it's not...) and they were killed or died because of some trouble over there...could be political or a gang or racism...anyways, so i have the start and a bit of the background, but no real plot. I don't want it to be about the death of the friend, rather just to play a minor role in affecting them and to kick the story off.

i have to leave for work in 15 mins.
any thoughts on the story or ideas where it could go are most welcome.

byee!

les grandes surfaces sont ferme!!!

so tired...shopping took a while...got dad a t-shirt from gowings and made mum a bracelet in blue moon beads that is perty!

we met mum's friend juliet in hornsby cause she needed a lift home cause she has no car at the moment, and so we had coffee in gloria jeans. she is so airy fairy! she was talking about how she needs to go to woolies and buy bread and milk and mum was trying to figure out something on her phone and juliet goes into this little tangent staring off into the distance and she said..."i like buying bread and milk" while on her little tangent...it was funny, hehehehe

i think i have posted enough for today? that was meant to be an exclamation mark! that's better.

anyways, lack of sleep is getting to me.
work tomorrow...which reminds me, i saw my cml (customer mania leader) in hornsby today, i would have said hi if he was close enough...so i followed him for a bit cause i was bored and i had nothing better to do, not knowing where ree and ben were at all and waiting for a msg...

ok, now i really will go...

help?

if anyone knows how i can get the first sidebar thing(the one without the writing) to be smaller please tell me!

thanks,
shops now. doctor who is over (don't worry i wasn't actually watching it)
bye!

switchfoot rock.
and I have "adding to the noise" stuck in my head! It is so good though. Just that I can't remember the words. So I shall write them down for you all...muahahaha

Adding to the Noise
Switchfoot

What's it gonna take
to slow us down
to let the silence spin us around?
What's it gonna take
to drop this town?
We've been spinning at the speed of sound.

Stepping out of those convenience stores,
what could we want but more, more, more?
From the third world
to the corporate core
we are the symphony of modern humanity.

If we're adding to the noise
turn off this song.
If we're adding to the noise
turn off your stereo, radio, video...

I don't know
what they're gonna think of next
genetic engineers of the most high tech.
A couple new ways
to fall into debt.
I'm a nervous wreck but I'll bet
that that TV set
tells us what we've want to hear
But none of those sound bites
are coming in clear,
From the third world to the corporate ear
we are the symphony of modern humanity.

And that is it...so good :)

in other news I decided that more thought should be put into my extension 2 major work, seeing as I have to start writing it these hols. But then to do that I need a better idea of what I'm writing about! And to start that I'm reading more about personalities, cause the four characters in my stories are all going to be very different. I have just realised how hard this is going to be. The way they react to eachother has to be in line with their personality types, so more research must be done! So it starts at the funeral of their childhood friend. The funeral is in the Middle East, but not really as it is today, because I like the idea of the bedouin, (partly from Lior's song, aptly named "Bedouin Song") and I want it to start off in a more relaxed, deserty part of the Middle East, perhaps in the Sahara, with a nomadic group...yay camels! I don't like them actually, but the idea is nice. This writing has made me think...maybe I need to look into funeral rituals of the nomadic groups of the Sahara...I think maybe a few of the main characters could be Western though, dispite growing up in the Sahara, cause I am not from the area and my characters would be acting in a western way, due to my un-easterness...so more thought is needed on that...any ideas juicy?
This blogging is good to get ideas out...knowing that it is for an audience other than me means that it has to be generally understandable and not a clutter of thought in my brain...which is generally what happens...and then i can't be bothered to think it out cause i think i don't have the time. oh well. hopefully i will continue to blog. but for the moment i am going to go late night shopping with mum to get dad's christmas pressie plus some other things i need, such as elasticky things for my dreads. i don't think that's how elasticky is spelt, but since i can't be bothered to find out it will do..who know? maybe it is spelt like that? anyone smart feel free to comment...not that many people will read my blog, but you know.

time to go shopping for me!!! more later!

byeee

so from my last post I have done about nothing...no wait, i lie! I wrapped mum and ree's present, decorated the house a bit for christmas and listened to a lot of SWITCHFOOT!!!!! THEY ROCK!!!!
and watched some relienk k and switchfoot video clips from yahoo.
and ree and ben came home and ree apologised for losing me in hornsby and not being able to call because of terrible k-mart reception! so i walked home. (after about 15 minutes of not knowing what to do and needing 2nd opinions on everything i wanted to buy, or people to eat with)

how funny is this quote from jon foreman from when people were talking about his hair, "stop talking about what's growing out of my head."
hahahahaha...he rocks!

i have to go do something off the computer now. it's a secret! and I'm not telling you!

byeee!!!

hello...

i just wrote a whole post and now it's gone. I am depressed...

so once again...

welcome to my blog!
